EXCITING NEWS!!

FoSP are delighted to announce that the year 1 playground climbing frame is being removed and a brand new one is being installed during the half term!!

The new one is brightly coloured with tunnels, climbing walls and a slide.

Well done to everyone who helped FoSP make paying for this possible.

PLEASE BEWARE WE WILL BE STARTING WORK ON THE REMOVAL OF THE SAFETY FLOORING ON TUESDAY 6TH FEBRUARY. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO USE THE CLIMBING FRAME IT IS NOT SAFE TO USE WHILST WORK IS BEING DONE. THANKS

Fireworks

💥 2 days to go….! 💥

Tickets are selling fast, last year we sold out of tickets so we recommend buying them before hand.

Gates open at 5pm, with the display at 7pm, and the gates closing at 8pm.

We will have Fun Fair Rides, a BBQ, a Bar, Safe Sparkler Zone, a Glow Stall, Fun & Games Stalls, and our Sweet Stall (including the ever popular Toffee Apples 🍎 and candy floss).

Advance tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for children (under 3s free). These can be purchased from the school office from Friday 6th October.

They can also be purchased online now from buytickets.at/friendsofselsdonprimary

Limited tickets will be available to purchase on the gate, these are priced at £7 for adults, and £5 for children (under 3s free).

Sparklers will be available to purchase in our ‘Safe Zone’.

Please note no sparklers, fireworks, alcohol or dogs to be brought to the display.img_2230-1

PE days for this term are as follows:

  • Year 1 – Tuesday and Thursday
  • Year 2 – Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Year 3 – Tuesday (swimming) and Wednesday
  • Year 4 – Monday and Wednesday
  • Year 5 – Thursday and Friday
  • Year 6 – Monday and Thursday

PE KIT

  • Navy blue, Royal blue or black plain tracksuit Bottoms OR Selsdon Tracksuit
  •  Selsdon House T shirt £4.50 (available from the school office or you may order online from Wovina),
  • Trainers/plimsolls

Sports clothing with slogans may not be worn.

Old/cheap trainers for work on the field (they will get muddy so please don’t wear expensive ones!)

Disco Dress Up Day

What a fantastic effort made by so many for disco dress up day. 

Thank you for all your jar and money donations we had 115 filled jars and £226.47. The money will be used to buy some nice things to fill some more jars for the lucky jar stall at the summer fair.

Can’t wait to see everyone in Hero day dress up on Friday 16th June!
